The 6th Spanish Hamburger Championship 2026 kicks off

From January 29th to March 1st, 2026, the 6th Spanish Burger Championship – Best Burger Spain – will take place, one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of the year. For over a month, hundreds of restaurants across the country will compete for the title of Best Burger in Spain .
The competition invites the public to sample burgers created especially for the occasion and vote for their favorite , evaluating aspects such as flavor, ingredient quality, creativity, and presentation. These votes are combined with evaluations by expert inspectors to determine the finalists.
Among the participants is MacLarens Rivas (Rivas-Vaciamadrid) , who is competing with his "Gravy & Glory" proposal, a burger made with wagyu brisket, homemade English gravy, matured cheddar and coffee and bourbon bacon jam , available only during the championship.
Once again, Best Burger Spain establishes itself as a showcase of national gastronomic talent and a perfect excuse to explore Spain one burger at a time.
