AGROECOLOGY FESTIVAL: CELEBRATING THE COUNTRYSIDE

This Sunday, September 20th, marks the fifth edition of this event that aims to raise awareness about healthy eating - with workshops and tomato tastings.

A morning to celebrate the Rivas countryside. The Agroecology Festival celebrates its fifth edition with family activities, workshops, shows, tastings, a local market, and even a garden-themed photo booth to capture memories.

Participating groups are committed to sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship, such as the producers from the Soto del Grillo Agroecological Park, who offer the opportunity to purchase their products directly. Representatives from the Urban Gardens program will also be collaborating, sharing their experiences, along with agroecological associations from the municipality. Members of the Community of Madrid's Environmental Education Center will showcase their work through activities designed for families.

Organized by the Soto del Grillo Agroecological Park and the Rivas City Council, the Agroecology Festival seeks to promote and encourage a local, fair and sustainable food system through agroecology.

13.00. Tasting of local tomato varieties and raffle of a pumpkin.
10.30-14.00. Agroecological market.
