La Despensa de Madrid... returns to Rivas

Rivas once again becomes—for the fifth year running—the epicenter of flavor and tradition with the return of La Despensa, the traveling market that brings with it the best artisanal products from the Community of Madrid. On Saturday, September 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., visitors can explore a variety of stalls where local producers will showcase the best of their harvests and creations.

La Despensa offers a window into the gastronomic richness of the region, presenting everything from craft beers, organic breads, meats, pickled goods, regional cheeses, wine, honey, and a long etcetera of top quality products.

This event stands out not only for its commitment to quality and food safety, but also for its support of local economic development, providing a platform for local production and crafts.

The initiative is supported by the Community of Madrid in collaboration with the Rivas City Council, to bring the best agri-food products of the region closer to the people, where it also seeks to show the variety of foods produced or grown in the Community of Madrid, and to stimulate the consumption of local products.
