Good Friday is the busiest holiday of the Easter weekend, and Rivas offers something for everyone. Families with children have a guaranteed spot at Parque Rivas, which has prepared free workshops and activities for children throughout Easter week, in the morning (12:00-14:00) and afternoon (17:30-19:30), aimed at children between 4 and 12 years old, with no prior registration required. For those who prefer the outdoors, the Southeast Regional Park and the Campillo Lagoon are the municipality's natural destinations, with trails and walking areas that are especially enjoyable in the spring weather.

In the afternoon, the Santa Mónica Parish Church hosts two events: the Celebration of the Passion of the Lord at 5:00 p.m. and the Living Stations of the Cross at 9:30 p.m. To round out the day, local businesses also play a prominent role: the sweet route through the town's artisan shops is a great option for the afternoon, and the municipal markets are open on weekends.
