An authentic experience of responsible consumption in the Old Town of Rivas Vaciamadrid. This Sunday, May 11 , the streets of the Old Town of Rivas Vaciamadrid will come alive with a new edition of the Rivas Nomad Market , an initiative promoted by the City Council that seeks to promote local consumption, celebrate artisanal production, and build a community around local products.
Located on San Isidro Street, in the heart of the Barrio Este, the market will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. , offering a wide variety of artisan products, seasonal foods, handmade items, and local creations of high quality and good prices.
The Rivas Nomad Market is not just a place for buying and selling, but a project that fosters direct connections between producers and consumers, strengthening the local economic fabric and promoting sustainable practices. At each edition, visitors have the opportunity to meet firsthand those who grow, make, or design each of the products, creating a unique, welcoming, and festive atmosphere.
Since its inception, this traveling market has won over residents with its ability to revitalize artisanal traditions, highlight the authenticity of local flavors, and celebrate the beauty of products made with care and conscience. It has also established itself as an inclusive space where everyone can explore and enjoy the diversity the region offers.
Those unable to attend on May 11 can now book the following confirmed dates for 2025: June 1, October 26, December 14, and December 21.
If you're passionate about natural products, value fair trade, and enjoy the local atmosphere, the Rivas Nomad Market awaits you this Sunday to share the true flavor of our land.
