Premier Rivas wine wins the Galactic Tapas 2026 with its 'Iberian Planet'

The Rivas Vaciamadrid Tapas Route has a winner for its 2026 edition. The dish most voted for by consumers during the Galactic Tapas event was the 'Iberian Planet' by Vino Premier Rivas: braised pork cheeks in Pedro Ximénez sauce, puffed rice, and a truffle injection on a selection roll made by Juanito Baker. This creation captivated the locals and earned the establishment first prize in the town's gastronomic route.

The awards ceremony was held at the Bamboleo restaurant, with the presence of the Mayor of Rivas, Aída Castillejo, the Councilor for Economic Development and Employment, Manuela Refolio, and the President of ASEARCO, David París, the event organizers along with the City Council. The 2026 edition broke records: 51 participating establishments, the highest number in its history, with a total of 18,197 tapas sold and an economic impact of approximately €72,800 during the two weekends of the event.

The Galactic Tapas event thus consolidates itself as the main gastronomic event in Rivas and one of the most recognized in the entire Community of Madrid.
